EBIKE & SUP Hire Customer Agreement You agree to hire the EBIKE / SUP and accessories specified above, to pay the cost of hire, and you accept the terms on this form. You accept complete responsibility during the period of hire for the safe custody of the equipment and for any loss, theft or damage (howsoever caused). You are responsible for the security of the EBIKE / SUP and must lock it to a fixed object whenever unattended and keep the equipment safeguarded at all times. You must return the equipment by the specified time and date. Any loss, theft, damage or accident should be notified to eWheelz immediately and in the case of theft or accident to the nearest police station too. A full payment shall be paid before hire commences. You accept that riding & paddling has risks and confirm that you are a competent rider & swimmer. You should not ride or paddle if you are in ill health, have a disability likely to affect ability to ride or paddling, or your eyesight is not up to the standard. Do not ride or paddle under the influence of alcohol, strong medication or other drugs. It is compulsory that you wear appropriate safety equipment and clothing. Ride & Paddle responsibly: do not attempt any manoeuvres beyond your skill level or the Ebike / SUPS specific capabilities. Ewheelz is not liable for death or injury to any person or loss or damage to any property that results. Save in respect of liability for personal injury or death resulting from our negligence, the hire company's liability to you whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise is limited to the cost of hire. You agree to indemnify us against any liabilities, costs, expenses, damages and losses arising out of or in connection with the death or injury to any person or any damage to property resulting from your hire or use of the equipment. Return of Ebike / SUPS and accessories; Ewheelz shall, upon return of the Ebike / SUP and accessories, inspect the Ebike / SUP and accessories. In the event that the Ebike / SUP and/or the accessories is/are not in the same condition in which it was handed over to the you, fair wear and tear expected, Ewheelz shall be entitled to charge the cost of repairing such damage, as determined by Ewheelz, fair wear and tear expected, provided that Ewheelz has provided you with the quote in respect of the costs of repairs. In the event that the Ebike / SUP and accessories are not returned timely as agreed upon, you shall be charged a pro rata rate of R250/hour Should you encounter any technical difficulties during your paddle, you may refer to the number on the Ebike / SUP frame for assistance at any time. By undersigning this agreement, you indemnify Ewheelz against all liability, cost, loss or damage incurred for the duration of the hire terms stated above.
